National observatory on the internationalisation of Italian schools and pupil mobility

The National observatory on the internationalisation of Italian schools and pupil mobility was launched in September 2009. The website www.scuolerinternazionali.org collects all information related to the Observatory and it is a useful platform for schools interested in promoting international activities.

The aim of the Observatory is to understand how to implement the internationalization of Italian schools and to promote the valorization of foreign students hosted in Italy.

One of the Observatory's main activities is to survey the state of Italian schools with regards to internationalization. Results are published on the Observatory web site, www.scuoleinternazionali.org (in Italian). The surveys continue every year.

The Observatory, in order to support the schools involved in youth mobility programmes, provides training sessions for secondary school teachers and headmasters, best practices and an informative newsletter.
