A research aimed at understanding the effects of new technologies on the intercultural education of young people.
What are the differences between the construction of reality learned online and that experienced in real life? What is the relationship between communication and identity? How much does staying in constant contact with the country of origin have a negative influence on the "adaptation" to a new culture and new friends, for adolescents who experience a year of life abroad? What do adolescents do with these new possibilities to reorganize their social relations in new and changing space-time contexts? Can the network be a device of education to cosmopolitanism?
The research tried to answer these questions.
